Summary
Between 3:57 pm UTC on October 31, 2026 and 3:47 am UTC on November 1, 2026, some jobs did not display on customer careers websites. The cause was an incident with Microsoft Azure AI Search in the central US region. Microsoft resolved it, and we confirmed jobs were displaying normally afterwards.

Impact
The impact was intermittent. Job listings displayed on some page loads and not on others. Only job listings were affected. No other functionality was impacted, and careers websites stayed available throughout.

Timeline (UTC)

• October 31, 3:57 pm: Azure monitoring reported that the search service was not responding to diagnostics. Azure’s automatic recovery started.
• October 31, approximately 4:08 pm: we published a status page notice to let customers know some jobs might not be displaying.
• During the incident: we monitored Azure’s service health updates and kept the status page current while we waited for more information from Microsoft.
• November 1, 3:47 am: Azure reported the problem with the search service as resolved.
• November 1, 8:59 am: monitoring continued until we closed the incident. We checked several careers websites and confirmed jobs were displaying normally.

Root cause
The incident originated in the Azure AI Search service. Microsoft has not shared a detailed root cause at the time of writing. We’ll add it here if they publish one.

What we did
We monitored Azure’s updates, kept customers informed through the status page, and verified recovery once Azure reported the issue resolved. Azure’s automatic recovery restored the service, and no action was needed on our side to bring it back.
